  • 8 oz (225g) lobster tail, 2 tails
  • 3 tbsp. softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tsp. black salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 paprika teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 slices of lemon


  1. Cut down the center of the top of the shell, towards the fins, using a pair of scissors or kitchen shears. Make a straight cut. Do not cut through the tail’s end.
  2. Separate the meat from the two sides of the shell using a spoon. Remove the flesh from the shell by lifting it up and out.
  3. Place the meat over the seam where the two shells meet, then press the two shells together.
  4. You may cut into the flesh while cutting the shell. Cut a shallow incision across the centre of the lobster flesh to enable you to peel away the thin coating of meat that has accumulated on the edges.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230C).
  6. Combine the butter, garlic powder, lemon juice, parsley, pepper, salt, and paprika in a small mixing bowl. Spread the mixture evenly over the lobster flesh.
  7. Bake the meat for 12-15 minutes on a baking sheet.
  8. Your lobster tail is now ready to eat. Serve with a side of broccoli and a squeeze of lemon.
